DIBA is conceived as a non-representational architectural artwork that explores one enduring principle: light, when structured with intention, ultimately prevails. Within the composition, a dense central formation appears to absorb and contain luminosity, while its surrounding field releases it outward in controlled, radiant trajectories. This tension between restraint and expansion defines the visual language of the piece.

Rather than decorative expression, DIBA is constructed as a permanent spatial intervention—an artwork that interacts with architecture, not merely sits within it.

Material Architecture and Craftsmanship

Each piece is individually produced over an 8–10 week period, requiring more than 600 hours of precise, fully handmade work. The composition is built through the layered placement of over 12,000 crystals—primarily Swarovski—combined with custom metallic-coated elements and gold-plated stainless steel.

This material hierarchy is not aesthetic alone; it is engineered to control reflection, absorption, and dispersion of light across the surface.

Light Interaction and Visual Behaviour

DIBA is not static. Its perception shifts continuously depending on environmental conditions.

Under daylight, metallic and crystal surfaces respond with subtle tonal variation, revealing layered depth within the central form. Under controlled artificial lighting, the composition intensifies—producing sharper reflections, pinpoint highlights, and a more defined radiating structure.

The result is an artwork that evolves throughout the day, maintaining visual relevance across changing atmospheres.

Limited Edition and Collectibility

DIBA is produced in a strictly limited series of no more than 15 pieces worldwide. Each work is made to order upon commission, reinforcing its position as a collectible rather than a repeatable product.

Every piece is accompanied by:

Architectural Integration

With a refined depth of 5 cm and a weight of approximately 14 kg, DIBA is engineered for flush-mounted installation, allowing it to integrate seamlessly into architectural surfaces while maintaining strong visual presence.
